Meet Jessica Lieban
MEEt JESSICA
Jessica Lieban (‘27) grew up in Santa Monica, California, and still enjoys spending free time in this coastal community. Throughout her upbringing, Jessica was consistently exposed to the entertainment industry and was also interested in the behind-the-scenes mechanisms of the industry, such as contract negotiations. After attending and graduating early from University of California, San Diego and prior to beginning law school at USC Gould School of Law, she worked for a year in the in-house legal department of Hyundai Motor America and traveled to Antarctica. During her 1L year, among other pursuits, Jessica participated in the Gould Entertainment Law Society, and attended the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. Jessica has been lucky enough to work at Bowman and Brooke, and will be a 2L Summer Law Clerk with Novian & Novian LLP. Currently, while her experience has primarily concerned commercial litigation, Jessica is curious about varied legal specialties.
